M & K Commercials who are based in Norfolk have a long successful history of providing their customers with commercial vehicle maintenance solutions and also pride themselves on being the Scania Service Dealer and tail lift agents for Norfolk.

Established in 1979 M & K Commercials became a Ratcliff Agent for tail lifts in the early eighties and over the last 26 years have become the leading Norfolk agent for all leading tail lift manufacturers.

Kenny Allison – Managing Director

Kenny started M & K Commercials in 1979 with his business partner Michael Nash and was appointed DAF dealer in 1982. When DAF merged with Leyland in 1987 the franchise was lost but an opportunity arose with Scania, and he hasn't looked back since. M & K was also a pioneer in tail lifts for the Norfolk area obtaining its first manufacturers franchise in 1984, since then this part of the business has grown considerably and M & K is now the largest supplier of tail lift services in Norfolk.

Involved in all aspects of the business Kenny combines his engineering know how and business sense to ensure M & K continues to offer a flexible, reliable and cost effective service to its many long term and new customers. Kenny enjoys watching football and motorsport and plays golf and travels in his spare time.

Matthew Allison – Director

Matthew joined M & K in 2007 after a successful career in vehicle sales and finance. Originally heading up the tail lift department, Matthew switched over to business development and was responsible for sourcing new contracts and customers.

Matt was made director in March 2010 and is responsible for a number of aspects of the day to day running of the dealership meeting with team leaders each morning to ensure quality of service at all times. Matthew can be contacted to discuss any aspect of the business on 01603 594455.

Mikey Kiddell – Mechanical Workshop Controller

Mikey joined M & K Commercials in 2001 as a technician following his apprenticeship with a well known national haulage company. Mikey has held a number of positions within the workshop and has gained vast experience of the business and its customers.

Mikey is in charge of the daily running of the mechanical service department. A Scania trained technician Mikey’s knowledge and experience make him a key team leader that his engineers can rely on. Mikey is also in charge of quality control and ensuring the workshop runs smoothly.

Away from work Mikey is a passionate Norwich City fan and a golfer. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and young son.

Neil Ryder – Shift Supervisor

Neil joined M & K Commercials in May 2010 following 6 years on the road as an HGV driver in a family owned business. This gave Neil vast insight and experience into many of our customers problems and challenges on a day to day basis. Previous to this Neil was a technician with a well known coach and bus operator for 8 years gaining valuable mechanical experience.

Since joining M&K Neil has quickly established himself as an important member of the team, reflected in his promotion to shift supervisor, and has attended and scored very highly at courses at the Scania college in Loughborough.

Away from work Neil is a family man with a young son and follows rugby and motorsport.

Adam Goffin – Shift Supervisor

Adam joined M & K in early 2007 as a technician following a career in the coach and bus industry. His abilities both in team leadership and technical knowledge means he has quickly been promoted internally and now leads his shift in a similar role to Alistair.

He is fast progressing through the Scania academy and is expected to achieve 'Master' level in the near future. Adam is also one of our 24Hour Breakdown engineers.

Adam is a keen Liverpool fan and family man.

Sally Townsend – Service Advisor

Sally joined M & K in March 2008 following a long career as a PA in a large Norfolk business. Sally has adapted well to a new industry and is responsible for booking all work for the mechanical service department and liaising with Andy to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Sally is many peoples first point of contact and her friendly telephone manner and customer service makes her an important member of our team.

Ali Moore – Tail Lift Workshop Controller

Alastair joined M & K in January 2009 after completing his degree at the university of Coventry. Alastair is responsible for the day to day running of the tail lift department from booking work to organising our 4 Loler qualified tail lift engineers.

Alastair is many customers' first point of call for anything tail lift and his customer service and ability to operate under pressure make Ali an important member of the team.

Alastair enjoys watching many sports and plays golf in his spare time.

Ros Crowe – Receptionist

Ros joined M & K in early 1990 and is another of our long serving members of staff. Ros is the majority of customer’s first contact point as she process’s all incoming telephone calls to M & K. Her telephone manner and cheery attitude are an asset to the company compared to the ever popular automated telephone services.

Ros is also in charge of opening all job cards for the workshop and assists accounts with administration jobs.
